• Cookie-Cup Recipe

11357430_1609339026003301_120168068_n1I was trying to come up with a creative dessert idea that wasn’t just another boring chocolate chip cookie.  After a little internet research, I decided on making cookie-cups.  I had seen them before with all kinds of fillings and toppings.  Cookie-cups seem like the perfect treat because you get a whole lot of cookie in one bite.  Plus, you can fill them up and they can hold stuff!  You can actually pour milk into the cup and drink it, then eat it (although, I don’t like to drink milk so I’d probably let it soak up for a little and then drain the milk out).  I wanted to be a little experimental with my cookie-cups so I decided to change the recipe that I found.  These are cookie-cups stuffed with brownies!

    Ingredients:

1 package of Pillsbury slice-and-bake chocolate chip cookies

1 box of Pillsbury brownie mix

    2/3 Cup oil

    1/4 Cup water

    2 eggs

1 container of Pillsbury Funfetti chocolate frosting

    Cooking spray

    Directions:

    • Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees.  Following the box instructions, mix up the brownie ingredients in a large bowl.

    • Spray muffin tins (recipe should make 8-10 cookie-cups).  Line the muffin tins with a layer of chocolate chip cookie dough and press down to form a shallow valley.

    • Fill each cup with 2 spoonfuls of brownie mix and top with another layer of chocolate chip cookie dough.

    • Bake for 20 minutes.

    • Remove from oven and let cups cool for about 5 minutes before removing them from muffin tin to cool completely.  (as the cookie-cups cool, the inside will sink a little)

    • Once cooled, fill top of cups with chocolate frosting an decorate with sprinkles.
